More and more people are choosing cloth diapers for their babies. Once seen as something from “the olden days”, many people now prefer them because they are economical as well as eco-friendly. As a parent, you will certainly need diapers for your baby. Choosing between cloth and disposable, however, is a personal decision. A lot of parents like the fact that they are able to reduce their carbon footprint by using cloth diapers and that they can save money by reusing them. This is particularly true in households where multiple children are expected. Cloth diapers are also popular because they are free from chemicals. Babies' skins are usually sensitive, which means cloth diapers, washed with gentle soaps, may be more comfortable for them.

Some people will only use cloth diapers, others will prefer the disposable ones, and others still will combine them. For instance, some will mostly use cloth diapers, but will have some disposables as a backup when they are on outings, or for night time wear only.
If you decide to go for cloth diapers, you will find that there are a lot of choices out there. Some wear in the same way as disposable diapers. Others have to be folded and clipped to stay in place.
