Here comes Woody… again. Sorry parents, if your kids were fans of the first two, you will probably find yourself sitting in a theater for round three…and yes, there is a series of toys to go with it. The story is set ten years later than the first two. Andy is ready to leave for college and Woody, Buzz, and all of the others face an uncertain future. I don’t want to get into any spoilers, but they face certain demise. Once again, Woody saves the day. This time they are joined by a few new characters who add interest to the story. I will not give away the story, you really have to see the movie.

This one has many positive themes, like working together to solve a common problem, working for common goals and conflict resolution strategies. It has a wonderful welcoming character named Lotso Bear, who is deceptively friendly. This was an excellent way to teach children to be wary of something or someone who sounds too good to be true without scaring them. The movie has positive social value. Take your kids to this one, you will all love it… and so will they. Disney even threw in a few jokes for the adults that our kids will not get. I would consider this a fun movie for kids and adults.

Hats off to Disney for this one!
