Blue and Jewel are back for another adventure in the wilderness of the Amazon. This time, they brought their three kids along too. This kids movie review thinks this movie is fun for the whole family. Once again Blu must battle his old adversary, Nigel. Only this time, he meets and even more frightening figure, his father in law!
It’s Carnival! Blue and his beautiful blue macaw wife are right in the middle of the festivities. They think that they are the only blue macaws left on the planet. One night, they hear on the news that scientists have discovered what might be a whole flock of rare blue macaws. Blu and Jewel know that they must find them. These city slicker birds are not quite cut out for country life. They find their extended family, but it is not shear bliss. This macaw family has of the drama found in a human family. They take along their zany friends Nico, Rafael, and Pedro from the first movie for more fun-filled laughs.
This movie is absolutely cute and full of silly antics. Nigel is up to his old tricks trying to spoil the happy reunion. This movie is good wholesome family fun for the entire family. There is a bird launched into the air on a firecracker, but he is not hurt. This movie shows healthy family relationships there is action, adventure, and wild rides down the rapids. The movie portrays the importance of family values and the importance of time with the ones that you love.
All in all, this movie is one big song and dance from beginning to end. This movie will put a smile on your face and a tap in your feet. The Brazilian Carnival drums are nonstop. This movie is an excellent choice for the entire family from the youngest to the oldest. This would be a great Grandparent’s day out with the kids. You can take Mom and Dad along too if you like, but only if they behave.
