Non-stop is an action adventure about an air marshal who must use his training to save an airplane from hijackers. The passengers on this flight are unaware of what is about to happen. Everything is peaceful on this non-stop from New York to London. It about to take a turn that is every traveler’s worst nightmare. This movie is too frightening for children under the age of 12. This family movie review thinks that this thriller is not for the sensitive or the young.

The movie begins innocently enough with the passengers on a nonstop from New York to London. A Federal Air Marshal is aboard the flight. He takes his seat and soon receives a text from someone who threatens to kill one person on the plane every 20 minutes unless $150 million dollars is transferred to a certain account number. The body counts begin to pile up, all brutally and silently murdered. The account number that was given was in the marshal’s name.

Something else is amiss and air marshal must figure it out before something horrible happens. There is a bomb on the plane. Meanwhile, the officials think that the air marshal is the one who has hijacked the plane. Time is running out and he must find the real killer before it is too late. Meanwhile, the authorities are trying to stop him from a crime that he is not committing.

This movie is rated a PG-13 for the action and violence sequences. There is some strong language throughout and some sensuality. The movie does contain drug references in more than one instance. This movie shows dead bodies and blood in frighteningly grotesque positions on the plane. The intensity of the action and violence are the key reason why this movie is inappropriate for children. This move is a good one for those that like a good action adventure film, but only if you leave the younger ones with a sitter.
