Things go wrong when Tony Stark tries to restart a dormant peacekeeping program. Now, it is up to the Avengers to stop Ultronäó»s terrible plans. This story brings together some of Marveläó»s classic favorites including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and the Incredible Hulk. The fate of the planet hangs in the balance unless the Avengers are successful in their mission. This action adventure may be fun for Marvel fans, but this family movie review thinks that it might be too intense for the younger members of the family and the faint of heart.

The MPAA rated it PG-13 for action, violence, some sexually suggestive content, and strong language, just as one might expect from a Marvel movie. This comic book come to life on the big screen is intense and dark. There are lots of explosions, deaths, gunfire, car wrecks, smashing things, and danger throughout the movie. Death, mayhem, and destruction are the rule throughout the movie.

There are some interesting new characters in this film. For instance, there are Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. They were orphaned when their building was destroyed a bomb. They only have each other in the world. Quicksilver is also quick to anger with a quick temper. Scarlet Witch has the ability to get inside peopleäó»s heads and make all of their nightmares come true. Her abilities may be disturbing for some. It will take teamwork to defeat her.

It takes some time to figure out which side all of the characters are on in the beginning of the movie. There are issues of trust that must be confronted in order for the team to emerge. This parental guide to the movies thinks this movie is suitable to those above ten years old. It may be suitable of those a few years younger, particularly if they have been exposed to the Marvel world before.
