Where have you been Alvin, we missed you! This movie guide for families thinks that it is about time for another movie featuring these adorable, funny, and totally RAD little balls of fur. Alvin and his chipmunk friends are back for another adventure in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. This time the chipmunks and chippettes are going on a cruise. While aboard the ship, the entire furry crew goes overboard and gets marooned on a tropical paradise island. However, this deserted island is not as deserted as it seems.
This movie is rated G by the MPAA. This movie is adorable and if there is any objectionable material, it is a matter of opinion. This is a fun movie for children of all ages. Any age would love it. This will be a wonderful movie adventure for adults and children alike. It is difficult to lose with an Alvin and the Chipmunks Movie.
Many of the antics and comedy in this movie are similar to those in the 2009 movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. Is it me or did Alvin gain weight? No, it must be the sweater and the Hawaiian shirt, but then again everyone gains weight on a cruise. No worries, I am sure that he will work it off on the island, as they try to find food and make fire.
They sing, they dance, and they parody your kid’s favorite popular songs. Cruises are about having fun and so is this movie. This family movie review will not give away too many spoilers and spoil the fun, but to see Alvin and the Chipmunks doing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” is priceless. Yes, they whip their tail back and forth, they whip their tail back and forth, and OK I’ll stop now. This chipmunk version of Survivor will have you laughing all the way to Chucky Cheese’s. You get the idea, see the movie, you cannot help but to laugh all the way through and so will your kids. Okay, let’s say it together…..A-L-V-I-N!
