In this perennial classic, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo must once again prove that they are smarter than the average bear. Faced with the economic woes of the times, Jellystone Park is losing money. The Mayor decides to shut it down and sell the land. Faced with relocation, Yogi and Boo Boo must find a way to save Jellystone Park from financial ruin or be relocated.
This slapstick-style comedy combines the movie magic of animation that has real characters interacting with computer graphic generated animated characters. Some of the characters are real people and some of them are animated renditions. Parents, this family movie does contain scenes where Yogi Bear is the brunt of comedy, such as being slapped in the face with a pan, falling off a roof, running his big bear rear along a fence while hanging precariously from a train and other old cartoon-style antics. The antics are much like those found in any other typical Warner Brother film production and are in their classic and highly recognizable style.
Rather than the familiar voice of Daws Butler, viewers will hear Dan Aykroyd as the voice of Yogi Bear. This movie has all of the familiar characters including Cindy Bear, Boo Boo and Ranger Smith. This family movie is fun for all ages and is sure to be a delight for children of all ages from 7 to 70. The Yogi Bear movie is sure to be a pic-a-nic for all of your little bear cubs.
