The Disney classic Winnie The Pooh is back with our favorite lovable characters and a new story, Eeyore has lost his tail! Winnie, Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo and Eeyore are together again to save Christopher Robin from the mysterious robber and Winnie just wants to find some honey.

Winnie the Pooh is back for another ordinary day in the hundred acre wood. Of course, he sets out to find some honey and when he misunderstands a note from Christopher Robin, his day becomes less than ordinary. This family movie review likes this version of an old childhood classic. Winnie the Pooh still wins the hearts of adults and children alike. All of Pooh’s old friends are back including Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Kanga, Roo, and Eeyore. In this adventure, they set out to save Christopher Robin from a creature that they think is called, “Backson.” It is a misadventure of misadventures and in the end; Christopher Robin is safe and sound.

This is an all new story, so parents will find it fresh as they sit with their children and reminisce about an old childhood classic. One thing that this family movie review notes is that the movie is very short. It is only 70 minutes long, which does not seem like wide enough for a cinema release. This family review cannot find much to say about this old classic except that it is a “must see” for everyone. They are still trying to find a new tail for Eeyore and Tigger is still bouncy. It is a happy little family in the hundred acre woods and is animated in the old familiar way. This really is a trip back to childhood and now you can introduce the characters and stories to your own children. The grandparents might like to be included in on this one too.

This parental guide to the movies considers this family classic to be a good way for parents and children to connect. The children can see some of the classics that the parents grew up with and the parents can share these memories with children.
