Hey vampire and werewolf fans! The undead come alive in this action-packed suspense thriller. Set amidst a series of unexplained killings in Seattle, it is the ultimate showdown between the fanged ones. Yes, that’s right, an army of vampires is about to fight a pack of werewolves. Who will win will be anyone’s guess, until the end of the movie, of course.
This movie is a twist on the television series of the same name. Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, must make a choice between her true love, who happens to be vampire and her good friend, Jacob, who happens to be a werewolf. With the quickly approaching war, Bella must choose sides. One choice will make her immortal, and the other choice will leave her a mere mortal. This supernatural love triangle is geared for the teenage girl. This romantic supernatural love triangle is based on the teenage passions that abound in Stephanie Meyer’s blockbuster book series.
The movie contains mild sexual content, lots of teenage hugging and kissing. It is more romantic than sexual. This movie is largely a psychodrama that pre-teens and younger would not understand, or likely be interested in the content. The fight scenes in the end contain lots of gnashing teeth, snarling and other forms of violence as these two supernatural armies clash. This is a teen flick. The romantic portions will appeal to teenage girls and the action portions will appeal to the dudes.
