Get ready for some chilly adventures as a new form of spy team is hatched just in time for the holidays. The Penguins of Madagascar is an animated tale by Dreamworks Animation and is sure to be a hit. Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private are an elite force in an undercover organization, which is appropriately named The North Wind. They are on a mission to stop the evil villain, Octavius Brine from destroying the world. This animated movie is one kid's movie that will be sure to be a favorite this season.
This movie may not be appropriate for all members of the family. There are some crude comments and some name calling. There are some intense scenes, such as when Skipper goes rolling after the egg and fall of a cliff. There is also a scary scene where the egg is surrounded by leopard seals. There is a scene where the film crew pushes some baby penguins off a cliff, but this is something that they do anyway, so they are all fine in the end. There is one scene where one of the penguins is talking about how you can't handcuff a penguin with flippers, and he has flippers, so it is flippin' useless. There is also a scene where one of the penguins is slapping around a baby octopus and makes it cry. This may be considered violent by some.
This is a cute movie, in a similar manner as the other Madagascar movies. If you like crunching Cheetos, and Riverdancing penguins, you will love this movie. Your other favorite characters are still there, but the focus is on the penguins. This movie is cute, cute, cute. Who could resist penguins, probably not you or your kids? This family movie review thinks that his is an excellent movie for the whole family.
