The Fluffy Movie Movie Review for Parents

Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias is on stage live in this concert film of the season. Iglesias tells it all in The Fluffy Movie. He tells of his rise to the top of the comedy scene, and dishes out his brand of comedy to the audience. Fluffy is a funny guy. The only question is whether Fluffy's brand of comedy is appropriate for younger audiences. This family guide to the movies does not necessarily think so.

The MPAA rated The Fluffy Movie PG-13 for suggestive material and sexual references. The next question on every parent's question is how suggestive. Fluffy makes his fortune being real and being an ordinary guy that everyone can relate to in some way. He talks about everything from Nintendos to French kissing. He makes fun of his Mexican heritage and cuts numerous ethnic jokes. He legitimizes it because he is making fun of himself.

Fluffy is not usually considered material for all audiences, particularly those under the age of 13. Fluffy gets real about things that people usually do not talk about it. He is famous for inserting many colorfully inappropriate words into colorfully inappropriate places. One of his favorites is, "Peace out bitches." I need go no further. You get the picture.

Fluffy is not appropriate for all audiences and I would go as far as to venture that many would not wish for children under the age of 13 to be exposed to this type of performance. For those who like this brand of comedy, Fluffy delivers. For everyone else, he may be a bit too much, even for some adults. Fluffy has a cult of his very own who go wherever he does, but not every parent will want their kids to be a part of that cult. Iglesias talks about everything, love, politics, and family life. His real world sense of humor may not be the best choice for a family movie. This movie is recommended for ages 13 and up, but at this age level, parents should still use their discretion.
