Men in Black 3 Movie Review for Parents

-by Ginger

All of your favorite aliens are back and so is Will Smith as Agent J to give them a run for their money in the movie Men In Black 3. You remember them from the first two Men in Black movies, Agent O, Agent K, O, Borris, Knuckles, Agent #5 and Andy Warhol. No, it’s not really Andy Warhol, just someone playing the character of Andy Warhol. Bet you did not know that Andy Warhol was MIB, does his art make more sense now? This fun filled action packed crew takes this agency of misfits into yet another underground, undercover mission. Like so many sequels of the past, Men In Black 3 travels back in time to earlier days. The Men In Black 3 movie takes a trip back to the early days of the MIB of the 1960s. Agent J must travel back in time in order to keep an alien from assassinating his friend, Agent K. If this happens, it will alter history forever. Let this family movie review tell you all about it.

If you have seen the first two Men In Black movies, you already know what to expect. There is action, violence, and some rude humor. Most of the violence is towards already villainous aliens who are engaged in a plot that will alter history and destroy humankind. The effects are really trippy and psychedelic. If your kids liked the first two movies, they will want to see this Men In Black 3 movie too.  Yes, the strange memory erasing light is still there and no, you won’t remember anything. Those aliens never seem to learn to behave.

Agent K finds out that there are some secrets to the universe and K never told him. The adventure unfolds as these secrets are revealed. Men In Black 3 is a fun movie for the entire family, although some aliens might find it disturbing due to violence against their species. This parental guide to the movies thinks that Men In Black 3 should be in your family’s movie plans for the holiday weekend. Just don’t stare at the light or you might forget. If you do, just come back to Parental Guide for a reminder.
