It was so good that they just had to do it again. Who cannot love dancing penguins? Who cannot love dancing penguins even better in 3D? This family movie guide is not too proud to be one of the first to admit that we love them! They are all back at it again, Mumble the dancing penguin, the elephant seals, and those crazy singing penguins with a Jamaican accent. They have all come back and it is a new generation that is not afraid to dance. In this movie, Mumble’s son has a new groove and he will need it as the penguin nation faces global change, putting them all in danger.

Many film reviews for families must agree that this movie, like the first one, has many positive themes about believing in yourself, perseverance and not being afraid to be who you really are inside. It is nonstop laughs and jovial fun for all throughout the entire movie. The penguins in this movie can really rap and they have the moves. Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute is all that can be said for this one. There are a few crude jokes, similar to those in the original Happy Feet. The main theme of the movie is that just an ordinary penguin can do incredible things if they only believe in themselves. I admire anyone who can use dancing penguins to deliver a life lesson.

Happy Feet Two has great music and extraordinary dancing… again. This time, they did stretch the laws of biology just a little bit. One of the penguins can fly, shrimp are trying to move up the food chain, and a few other changes. This movie is meant to be fun and that it is. This family movie guide considers it a fun movie for the whole family. The only reason for the slightly higher than a G rating is that a few of the characters are the victims of slapstick-style comedy involving bodily injury. A penguin krumps an elephant seal and then punches him in the nose. If you have seen the first Happy Feet, you know what to expect. This movie is wall to wall silliness from beginning to end.
