Nemo, a young clownfish, wants to have some freedom but winds up being fish-napped and taken to a tank within a dentist office in Australia. His father, Marlin (Albert Brooks), leaves the security of their home reef to travel the deep open seas attempting to find his lost son. Along the way he befriends Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), a fish with a short-term memory problem. The two encounter one adventure after another making Marlin test waters he’d swore to never venture into. Finding Nemo utilizes breakthrough computer animation that takes you into a whole new world with this undersea adventure about family, courage and challenges. Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, is a hilarious counterpart. Her lack of memory but continued positive outlook on life is persuasive and may even encourage you to look at the glass as half full. The smart-witted fish portrayed in this movie will capture your imagination. Finding Nemo is a great story full of good morals and lots of family-friendly humor.
