Diaper Bag Checklist

Any mother will agree that diaper bags are extremely beneficial to have with you at all times.  When you are away from home you never know what to expect and what items your child will need.  It is important to prepare for all occurrences that may happen so when they do you have the necessary items.  In the hectic lifestyles that are brought on by a new born baby some parents may forget some items when they are stocking their diaper bag, they also may forget to replace items they have used.  To prevent that from happening it is wise to compile a diaper bag checklist so that you can be sure you have everything you need when you are on the go.  Checklists make life much easier for parents who are often on the go.

Items you should include on your diaper bag checklist are:

Diapers: Disposable or cloth, whichever you prefer, should always be included in your diaper bag.  You should always have multiple diapers and you should constantly restock your supply.  Being away from home without a diaper to change your child is not only inconvenient for them, and you but everyone you encounter along the way.

Wet Wipes:  Along with diapers, wet wipes are extremely important and you should always have access to them.  They are mandatory when you are changing your baby.  Even better they are a great solution for messy hands, faces and even for wiping down surfaces.

Bottles:  Another necessary component on your diaper bag check list are bottles.  You never know when your infant is going to become hungry and you never know where you are going to be.  Carrying a bottle, or even more than one, will ensure that they never have to go hungry for long periods of time.

Formula:  Carrying formula makes it extremely easy to make a bottle for your baby.  Regardless of where you are you can make your baby a bottle quickly with instant formula.  If you are against formula you can carry pre assembled bottles full of fresh milk.

Bibs:  You need to be prepared for your child to eat regardless of your location.  Carrying a bib will ensure that when you feed your baby they are not dirtying their clothing.  If you do not carry a bib you should carry a cloth so that you are able to soak up excess form the bottle and clean your infants face after they have eaten

Snacks:  For toddlers and older children it is extremely important to carry snacks.  This will be beneficial when you are gone for long periods of time and it also helps them remain content.  Snacks like apples, or other fruit are great as well as gummies and even crackers or chips.

Other items on your diaper bag checklist should be:

Blankets
Extra clothing
Pacifiers
Anti Bacterial hand cleaner
Teething Aids
Zip lock bags
