Cloudy, With a Chance of Meatballs is computer animated children’s film premiering in theaters and IMAX 3D in September of 2009. The film features many celebrity voices including Bill Hader, Anna Farris, Benjamin Bratt, Al Roker, Will Forte, and Neil Patrick Harris.
The movie is based on a classic children’s book with the same name by Judi and Ron Barrett. The movie is meant for children and is mostly appropriate for all ages. The film did receive a PG rating due to brief mild language, but all in all this film is a laugher the whole family can enjoy.
The DVD and Blu-ray released is slated for January 2010. The DVD will most likely feature a 3-D version along with special features and bonus materials. A video game is also available on most gaming systems.
