Cinderella Family Movie Summary

Having been left to the care of her evil step-mother, Cinderella finds herself being mistreated by her step-sisters and step-mother, becoming their indentured servant. She can only befriend the mice and birds for company. The King sends word to all the land that he is seeking a bride for his son and all available maidens are to attend, but Cinderella’s mean step-sisters give her so much work to do – and then destroy her gown – causing a heartbroken Cinderella to be left behind. With the help of some furry and feathered friends, Cinderella is transformed into a beautiful maiden and sent off to meet the prince, but she must be home by midnight or her fairytale will turn into disaster. The good-natured Cinderella and this story of hope, combined with the musical score, make it a classic worth rediscovering.

Cinderella Family Movie Review for Parents - Our View

-by Allison

It’s Cinderella, a classic among the classics. This fairytale has captivated audiences for generations with its spellbinding characters and memorable music. It takes a mistreated beautiful girl with a heart of gold and captures your attention from the start. You will be wishing upon a star for your own happy ending. It’s an ageless piece and although it appears to be a child-oriented film, it doesn't take much for an adult to find it extraordinarily appealing. It's a fabulous film the whole family can watch and enjoy.

The Cinderella movie made the list of All-time, Best Family Movies by Parental Guide.
