This story is a drama about two brothers. One is killed in a car accident while the other is driving. In keeping with the last promise that he made to his brother, Charlie meets with his younger brother’s ghost every night and plays baseball and other normal activities with him. He promised that he would never leave. He meets a girl who wants him to sail around the world, but this means leaving his brother. In the end, he must make a choice between keeping a promise to his dead little brother, or sailing the world with the love of his life.
The movie only has one incident where Charlie slugs a man for a comment that he made. The movie deals with some heavy topics, like life and death, grief, making tough choices, and keeping promises. It has a strong supernatural element to it and a very violent car crash. The movie deals with some very real life subjects that may not be appropriate for younger viewers. It is a high drama that is rather on the serious side. The story is original and has a dark undertone in the main plot.
